I am tall but I don't like it. I love to laugh. I'm nearly always late. I hate spiders and thunderstorms. I love to stay in bed all day. I like things to be tidy and in their place. I hate mess. I drive my boyfriend crazy: I like that. I hate mornings. I love the smell of freshly cut grass. I hate the dark. I wish I wore more skirts and heels, but I'm comfortable in jeans and trainers. I love my friends, they are my family. I like numbers: they make sense. I like to make things. I love to watch people dance. I hate to dance. I'm shy and self-conscious. I love to take pictures. I hate having my picture taken. I cannot sing. At all. I am happiest when reading. I love to learn. I have found 'the one'. I love to spend money. I'm upfront and honest. I do not like lies. I always carry chewing gum. I never seem to get it quite right, but I'm happy being me. My brother laughs at me; my sister gets me.

O.K. Mel - maybe YOU can explain the Harry Potter craze to me. I know it's all about marketing and everything but really, is it the story, the writing, the characters? I read books 1 to 3 (when my now 16 year old was reading them) and enjoyed them. Got 1/2 way through the 4th and had had enough. My 9 year old has now read past 1/2 through the 4th book and tells me I really should read it.....
I'm wondering wether to re read all the other books first, or just dive straight in, decisions, decisions!!! I'm jealous you get to go to Hastings lots, its bargin city compared tp London prices!
